Rebecca/Brianna World Tour 2011

Coming soon...Rebecca and Brianna take on the world. Or at least several continents. We came back to Madison for our last semester of school, but now that we've both successfully graduated we're ready for another trip. A bigger and better one, covering three continents and twenty-something countries. Our only obstacle right now is saving money, so we're working and working and planning and saving and hopefully we'll depart in a few months! Coming back to Wisconsin in August was nice. The last month of summer is always fun and the weather in Madison is actually perfect for once. Jamsheed and I took a trip to New York, which was fantastic, and then the semester began. And flew by. Just like that it was over and we were receiving diplomas, (or at least diploma folders...still waiting on the actual thing). Graduation, Christmas, New Year's and another trip to the Bahamas were wonderful! And now spring semester is starting...and I'm at home. With no classes, no homework, only freedom. It's very strange. Bittersweet. After mini panic attacks about finding a journalism job far away, (preferably D.C, New York, or with AlJazeera in Doha), trying to do everything possible to keep up Farsi without class, and stressing more about what the future holds for me and if I can afford it, school actually sounds better. BUT for now I'm focusing on traveling. I cannot wait! "We need to leave," is a commmon phrase in our house. Brianna and I say it far too often. The incessant snow and freezing weather doesn't help. In the meantime, as we count pennies and research airfare, any suggestions on places to see, things to do, etc. would be greatly appreciated!
